I purchase this just before Christmas and the Free UK & ROI Breakdown Assistance doesn’t have to be activated until the 31st July 2009 and the Free map upgrade has to be activated before the 31st October 2009. I called Mondial Assistance, the company providing breakdown cover, and asked what as included. It includes pretty much everything with the exception of homestart - therefore you have to be 2 miles away from your home address for them to come out and they won’t come out if you’ve been silly enough to run out of petrol.
