Dyson Airblade Hand Dryer
Forget vacuum cleaners, have you seen the Dyson Airblade Hand Dryer? If not then get down to your nearest public toilet and see for yourself! So why am I getting excited about going into men’s toilets? Well, James Dyson, the man who changed the way the good old vacuum cleaner worked has now re-invented the incredibly loud and frankly useless hand dryer.
The Airblade’s aren’t new - they’ve been around for a few years now - but I’m surprised you don’t see more of them around because they are cool! The first time I saw one I washed my hands twice so I could use it again. How many times have you used the classic hand dryer only to give up and wipe your hands on your trousers? Rather than rubbing your hands vigourously together under a cold torrent of air in the vain hope that they will soon become dry, you place your hands in the Airblade and simply pull them upwards as the 400mph jets of air miraculously dries your hands and all in under 10 seconds. Take a look at the Dyson Airblade Demo.
There are also benefits for those that choose to have them installed - it’s more hygienic, faster, it actually does what it’s suppose to do, costs less to run (around 75% less) and releases less co2 into the atmosphere (approximately 75%). They do cost quite a bit more though at £600 but if you’ve got an ultra modern bathroom then this is the gadget for you.
